Get to Know Jason Prigg

Jason is the newest member of the CSI development team. Get to know Jason in the interview below!


Q. What are your main responsibilities at CSI?

Jason P.: I do software development and problem resolution.

 

Q. What are some challenges you face in your everyday work?

Jason P.: Keeping up with the technology. It’s always changing!

 

Q. What’s the best thing about working for CSI?

Jason P.: The people that work here. Everyone is friendly and each has their own set of talents which compliment the group.

 

Q. What do you do in your spare time?

Jason P.: I am actively involved in Boy Scouts/Cub Scouts, and I like to spend time outdoors.

 

Q. What is a cool fact that most people may not know about you?

Jason P.: I have a wood shop in my basement, and I do a lot of woodworking.

 

Q. If you could have a room full of any one thing, what would it be?

Jason P.: My family.


Brian

Get to Know Brian Hines

Brian has been with CSI for over two years now! Read the interview to find out more about Brian.


Q. What are your main responsibilities at CSI?

Brian: I do reporting, both SSRS and Crystal, troubleshoot issues, work with Taskcenter, iMIS Public Views, ICE…a little bit of everything.

 

Q. What are some challenges you face in your everyday work?

Brian: My biggest challenge is balancing time between clients to meet their needs as efficiently as possible.

 

Q. What’s the best thing about working for CSI?

Brian: The diversity of my tasks, I get to work in a lot of different areas. CSI is a great environment, we have a lot of fun and I’m always learning something new.


Q. What do you do in your spare time?

Brian: I play video games – I love the Xbox 360- and recently I have been working with iPhone development. I also watch movies and spend time with my girlfriend, Lyndsay.


Q. What is a cool fact that most people may not know about you?

Brian: I love music. I would shrivel up and die without my iPhone. I also play the guitar.


Q. If you could have a room full of any one thing, what would it be?

Brian: I would have a room full of tech gadgets.


Rachel

Get to Know Rachel Watters

Rachel has been on the CSI team since January 2009. Read the interview below to find out more about Rachel!


Q. What are your main responsibilities at CSI? 

Rachel: I am responsible for marketing, designing, and front-end developing. I also assist project managers for web projects.


Q. What are the main challenges you face in your everyday work?

Rachel: Being the only designer on staff, it is sometimes difficult to have co-workers give me professional feedback on my work. A designer thrives on feedback and is always looking for constructive critiques.


Q. What is the best thing about working at CSI?

Rachel: It’s a toss-up between the people here and the fact that I get to do what I love doing; designing.


Q. What do you do in your spare time?

Rachel: Take care of my puppy, visit family and friends in Wisconsin, scrapbook, sketch, and watch/play sports.


Q. What is a cool fact about you that not many people know?

Rachel: Being the huge Green Bay Packer fan that I am, I go training camp in Green Bay each year to meet players and get them to sign their rookie cards. I have autographs from Aaron Rodgers, Donald Driver, Ahman Green, Javon Walker, Greg Jennings and Kabeer Gbaja-Biamilla (KGB). I own three different Brett Favre rookie cards, all of them depreciating in value each time he wears a different uniform.

 

Q. What is the best advice you have ever given or received?

Rachel: Never go to bed angry. And, live everyday as though it is your last day. Life is too short to be angry or hold grudges.


Dean

Q. What are your main responsibilities at CSI?

Dean: I manage the internal network, program, and assist with iMIS upgrades.


Q. What is the trickiest part about what you do?

Dean: There is a new problem to solve everyday.

 

Q. What is the best thing about working at CSI?

Dean: No two days are ever the same.


Q. What do you do in your spare time?

Dean: I run, read, play guitar, and hang out with my friends.


Q. What is a cool fact about you that not many people know?

Dean: I own over 700 movies of all different types of genres.


Chris

Get to Know Chris Paskvan

Chris was hired as a part of the development team at CSI. Read this short interview to get to know him!

 

Q. What is your favorite part about being a developer?

Chris: I like the constant challenges in many different ways that developing gives me.


Q. What is the trickiest part of your development work so far?

Chris: So far I’ve mainly been working on iMove, and the trickiest work has been trying to teach iMove how to handle extremely large data sets.

 

Q. What is the best thing about working at CSI?

Chris: The people here are great!


Q. What do you do in your spare time?

Chris: I take care of my two kids, Haley and Kyle.


Q. What is a cool fact about you that not many people know?

Chris: I like to skateboard in the summer and snowboard in the winter.
