Ektron Releases Version 8.0
Recently two CSI employees, Molivouth (Moli) Boulom and Joshua (JB) Bennett, attended the Ektron Synergy conference in Florida, where Ektron released version 8 of their Content Management System. The new version has been long awaited and includes numerous amounts of improvements and newly added features. Some of those features include:
- A newly designed, more intuitive Workarea
- Newly added social networking tools, including activity streams and micro-messaging, live Twitter feeds, and much more!
- Improved analytics and traffic tracking
- Multivariate testing – launch a website with many landing pages to determine which one works the best.
- PageBuilder technology – non-technical people can create and launch pages on the fly without assistance from the development team!
- Much improved calendar functionality
