History
My, have we grown!
It’s hard to believe that in 1991, CSI was merely a glint in Doug Morris’ eye. Starting out in his basement, Doug has seen his company grow from 1 to 15 employees, his client base expand from 1 (Coin Laundry, who remains a client yet today) to over 50, technology advance from iMIS 4 to 15.2, and the internet advance from Netscape and Lycos to Firefox and Google. This year, CSI proudly celebrates its 20th anniversary in business.
Timeline
Over the years, CSI has accomplished many exciting milestones. Here are a few:
- 1992 CSI becomes the first Midwest Authorized Solution Provider (3rd in the nation) of iMIS, now the #1 ranked software of its kind with 30,000 users worldwide.
- 1993 CSI’s first client, the Coin Laundry Association, goes live with iMIS.
- 1996 CSI converts America Public Works Association from LAN to iMIS Client/Server, the first of many successful seamless upgrades.
- 1999 CSI focuses exclusively on the not-for-profit sector.
- 2000 CSI earns its first Chairman’s Circle Award from ASI.
- 2001 CSI releases the Activity Merge Manager 1.0 module (iMerge), providing one step merging of iMIS records.
- 2002 CSI releases Meeting Closer 1.0, allowing customers enhanced reporting capabilities for closed meetings.
- 2003 CSI teams with Association Technologies to provide a complete IT solution to all of its clients.
- 2004 CSI delivers its first Content Management Solution fully integrated with iMIS.
- 2005 CSI receives the Customer Satistfaction Award from ASI.
- 2006 CSI receives its second consecutive Customer Satisfaction Award and first ever Presidents Award for iEmail. CSI celebrates its 15th year in business.
- 2007 CSI receives its third consecutive Customer Satisfaction Award and second Presidents Award for the Multi Database System.
- 2008 CSI releases ICE, the Interactive Chapter Experience.
- 2009 CSI wins the iMIS Innovation of the Year Award, as well as its 6th Customer Satisfaction Award.
- 2010 CSI grows to 16 employees and wins the Customer Satisfaction Leader of the Year Award.
- 2011 CSI celebrates its 20th year in business.
